About Me

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

With over two decades of experience in the mental health field, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients aged 3 to 86, supporting them through a wide range of life challenges. My journey began as a child therapist, focusing on behavioral disorders, academic difficulties, and foster care. During this time, I discovered a deep passion for working with families.

After nearly ten years, I transitioned to helping family systems navigate complex dynamics such as divorce, sibling rivalry, estrangement, and blended family adjustments. This valuable experience naturally led me to work with couples and adults—my true passion.

I especially enjoy supporting couples facing high-conflict situations, relationship ruptures, and those striving to reconnect. I also work closely with individuals navigating life transitions and self-exploration. My areas of special interest include emotional regulation around anger and anxiety, the military lifestyle, and the universal quest to find one’s place in the world.

Interactive. Solution-focused. Personal.  My therapeutic approach combines support with practical guidance to help you address personal challenges and complex relationship issues. I integrate a variety of evidence-based techniques to create a personalized plan tailored to your unique situation. You are the expert on your life. Together, we form a team—working in a safe, compassionate space to develop real solutions that empower the changes you want to make

Our Story

The idea for Real Solutions Therapy came during the pandemic, when the demand for mental health support surged and I found it impossible to keep up with the many people reaching out for someone to talk to during quarantine and beyond. At the same time, I noticed more individuals seeking sliding scale options, struggling to find affordable therapy. Meanwhile, new therapists and those still in graduate programs faced challenges finding clients and gaining the experience they needed.

I saw an opportunity for us to support each other—and to better serve our community.

Real Solutions Therapy brings together Intern Therapists from accredited Master’s programs in Marriage and Family Therapy and Counseling, alongside Associate Therapists working toward full licensure in Washington State. Each therapist is carefully vetted and brings valuable education and life experience to their work, providing accessible, affordable therapy without compromising quality.

We approach therapy as a collaborative team, guided by my weekly supervision, regular case consultations, and ongoing monthly trainings. Our commitment is to deliver ethical, compassionate, and effective care to every client who walks through our doors.
